To have a healthy lifestyle, we need proper rest, enough regular exercise, and lots of nutritious food. I hit the gym every alternate day, doing weight lifting to build muscles, aerobics to build endurance and yoga to build flexibility. The same concept applies to our eyes. We need the right type and amount of eye exercises to heal our eyes from daily strains.

The first exercise will be the eye rotation method. Roll your eye balls around the eyes in a clockwise and anti-clockwise direction. Look left and right, up and down, holding for a couple of seconds when you look in each of the directions. This will exercise the eye movement muscles in your eyes, releasing the tension in your eyes from staring at too much TV or the computer screen.

The second exercise will be to use your ring finger to circle around your eyes in clockwise and anti-clockwise directions. The ring finger will prevent excessive pressure application on your delicate eye areas compared to the ring or the middle finger.

The final exercise will be palming. Rub your palms together to generate heat, and then place them over your eyes for a warm, soothing relaxation.
