The shooting of Habib Faisal's Daawat-e-Ishq resumed in Lucknow on Monday after a gap of three months. Faisal, who had been camping in the city for the past week scouting for locations for a song sequence, finally zeroed in on Christian College and Bada Imambada.

At Christian College, classes were suspended on Monday when the lead actors of the film Aditya Roy Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra landed there to shoot for the song, being choreographed by Chinni Prakash.

But the shoot at Bada Imambada had to be called off after the monument became the site of protests. On Tuesday morning, the shooting at Kudiya Ghat in Chowk also had to be wrapped up due to a fracas between a security guard of the production house and an onlooker.
The song was finally canned at Marine Drive, adjacent to Ambedar Park in Gomti Nagar, with Parineeti and Aditya singing Rang Dali while riding on a tempo, the green public transport peculiar to this part of the country. In fact, a lot of tempos had been lined up, with some background dancers dressed in shadi bandwala uniforms, dancing atop them.

This is the second song to be shot in the vicinity of the Ambedkar Park in Gomti Nagar. Not too long ago, Jackky Bhagnani was here to shoot a love song for Youngistan with co-star Neha.

Parineeti and Aditya, who are said to be good friends now, will be in Lucknow for another couple of days.
